Like a good AARlander, I'm sure you voted in the Q1 ACAs, right?

... Right?

In any case, for those who are new to AARland, the ACAs (or AARland Choice AwAARds) are a way to recognize the best AARs every quarter. Voting is conducted in dedicated threads for each subforum, and then I report the winners, who will be showered with praise and glory until the next quarter. This is the thread for Victoria II only. You can find the links for the other games in my signature. I'd like to ask everyone reading this thread, provided they have space in their signatures (remember, ten lines or less), to post a link to the awards there. If you are so inclined, you may also post an advertisement in your AARs, but if you have more than one, please only choose one, lest we inflict the horrors of spam upon the land. I'd like to see an even better turnout this time around!

All AARs which have updated at least once between 1 April and 30 June (inclusive) are eligible, and voting ends 10 August at 10 PM (GMT -5). Good luck, and may the best AARs win!

Ballots should include a link to the AAR, the writer's name, and of course, the name of the AAR itself. You may nominate up to four individual AARs per subforum thread.

A lot of tie votes this time around, as people for, whatever reason, decide to play other Paradox games and write AARs for them (perhaps they are suffering from insanity?). Let's get to the winners!

We have a three way tie for fourth place; spiller68's the French EmpiAAR strikes back!, Zorro's Soviets Rising, and Denmark's Doom by alxeu, who each received three votes.

There's a four way tie for third place: my own Sonderweg oder Anderweg? (surprisingly, people voted for it but haven't joined yet, which is like stealing in my book ;)), Sybot's Ancient Empire (recently brought to a conclusion), rorlegion's Road to Liberty, and InvisibleSandwi's Australia Project. All of these fine AARs received four votes.

Alone in second place was Athalcor's All Hail Britannia!, with six votes.

However, to nobody's surprise (least of all mine) the hilarious Österreich über Alles, with ten votes, earned Nick Giordano yet another first place win.

Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you for voting! If you've won, why not share your victory with the world through your signature? All the cool kids are doing it!
