It is clear that paradox won't continue this game. However, it is also clear that it has great potential. Many games have resurrected from among the dead thanks to its modding community. I was wondering about the possibility of making some mods, but I don't know up to what point this game is moddable. Is it worth it?
I have programming experience, but not modding, hoping for modding info is hoping too much?

Check out some of Chatnoir's mods - he was by some margin the biggest modder for Sengoku and he pushed the limits of the game. Judging from the small scale of Sengoku, and from MotE modding experience (a similarly smaller Paradox game), I'd guess that it's pretty limited tho. A fairly one-dimensional game like Sengoku just doesn't have that many script hooks required to do what it wants to do, and that's a major limiter on what modders will be able to achieve.
