Plant irgendwer hinzufahren ?

War schon jemand mal bei einem Treffen und lohnt es sich ?

Haben irgendwelche Berliner vor hinzufahren und das vielleicht gemeinsam zu tun ?

Waren in den vergangenen Jahren Planungen zu gemeinsamen Fahrten zum Fantreffen erfolgreich oder sollte ich alleine die Möglichkeit sofort vergessen und besser so tun, als hätte ich diesen Thread nie eröffnet ?? :rolleyes:

PS: Da ich noch nicht genau meine Planungen für August weiss, werd ich wohl eh erst zu spät wissen ob ich hinfahren kann, also keine Karte mehr bekommen. Ich zieh es aber zumindest in Erwägung. :cool:

More Fan Gathering Details Released[/h]
Dearest Paradoxians!

Paradox Interactive is celebrating 10 years of independence, something we would not have been able to do if it were not for you - the loyal (and super intelligent and devilishly handsome ...) Paradox fans. The time has come for us to gather, like a team of superheroes collaborating to save the world, or piranhas devouring a less-sure-footed adventurer. No matter the metaphor, the result will be a large amount of wonderful, excited Paradox fans and staff gathered up in one place to have lots of fun, and enjoy an evening in each others company.

We're not ready to release a fully finished schedule yet... but we are so hyped for this that we can't stop ourselves from sharing some information on what will be going on during this epic event. Please do not panic if you notice your heart rate drastically rising or if you feel a warm, fuzzy sensation; that's just you joining our collective hype. Without further ado, and in no particular order, prepare yourself to become just a little more informed.

Fredrik Wester, Paradox Interactive's CEO, will be hosting a press conference including new games being announced and more! This event will be openly livestreamed for our not-physically-attending fans around the globe.

Later (or perhaps earlier) on the very same stage, project lead Dan "podcat" Lind and PDS Studio veteran Johan "Johan/Balor" Andersson will be talking about maps, sliders, buttons and violent death on a grand strategy scale. How will it be done? In the form of the first-ever Hearts of Iron IV live demo, on stage, right in front of you.

Ever wanted to ask Fred how he manages to never stop smiling, or what color of laser he prefers? You can most likely get that answered in person during the evening, but for the more public-speaking oriented fans we are hosting a Paradox Panel moderated by popular YouTuber Quill18. Prepare to banter about developing strategy games, industry hot topics, Johan's favorite ice-cream or just about anything you can think of. We've got the answers, you better bring the questions!


On the topic of interacting; we will be mingling, hosting demo stations (featuring unreleased content), drinking beer, talking about anecdotes (like that other time we had beers and **EMBARRASSING STORY REDACTED**), giving out gifts and generally enjoying ourselves.

Also, contests. More on this as we get closer to the event.

Okay, this message turned out to be a bit longer than expected. We better get back to preparing to meet our fans; after all, we're only a few weeks away.

Das Hauptproblem dürfte sein, jetzt noch ein Hotel zu kriegen, außer man ist nah genug dran fürs Schlafen nach hause zu fahren.

Ich bin von Mittwoch (Pressetag) bis einschließlich Freitag ganztags auf der Messe und auch am Donnerstag abend auf dem Fantreffen.
Zur Hinfahrt, es gibt bei der Bahn ein gamescom Messespezial, für 99 Euro hin und zurück.
 
Ich bin auf der Gamescom und auf dem Fantreffen. Fantreffen waren eigentlich immer nett. Man trifft einen Haufen Nerds und kann was trinken -- klingt doch gut, oder? ;)
 
Hmm....ich glaub ich scheiter an der Kreditkartenhürde.
Hab nur Maestro/ex-EC Karte. Im Internet zahl ich mit Paypal.
Die Bezahlbedingungen werden sich wohl hierfür nicht mehr ändern, auch wenn Shams das Problem schon zugegeben hat.
Könnte nen Freund fragen, aber weiss ja eh noch nicht genau ob ich zeitlich überhaupt kann.

Falls der IC nicht mehr fährt, dann würde ich vielleicht im nächstgelegenen Hostel übernachten, aber wegen der Gamescom wird das vermutlich knapp.
Schlaf ich halt im Dom....oder nehm nen Regionalzug. Schätze ne zwölf Stunden Fahrt nach Berlin zurück ist vorauszusehen.


edit: Gute Neuigkeiten für Paypal-nutzer: BjörnB sieht zu das Paypal als Zahlungsmöglichkeit bereitsteht.

Hi Guys sorry to post in English.
If you guys could help me spread the word about this event it would be great!
I know there are a couple of German Language fan sites and the like, We are bringing the event to Germany and would love to have a large turn out from the German fans. The language barrier makes it harder for me to know where to go with it and how to get the word out.
So any assistance you could render to help spread the word would be much appreciated.
 
Making this a sticky thread for a bit to seen if we can generate more interest from those local to the event.

Wenn es irgendwelche Fragen gibt kann man die auch gerne an mich stellen, ich leite das dann an Paradox weiter falls ich nicht schon selber Antworten weiss. Die Sprachbarriere sollte hier kein Hindernis sein! :)
