I was playing when I opened up a newspaper only to find it has no background.
This happens. It's been reported before, it's happened to me before, and the solution is to restart the game. I decided to restart a bit later as I was in the middle of an election, and a war. I also have the game set to autosave every year, and, pause at a new upper house - effectively pausing to tell me the game has saved itself.
I was waiting for January 1st when... suddenly
The backgrounds all came back :huh:
I was confused, but figured, meh.
Only to have, some months later, the backgrounds all vanish again... then come back, then vanish, then only half of them came back :huh:
Game didn't crash, and I played like that until it was time for bed, but I was wondering if anyone else using the has had this experience.
