I guess I'm a bit late to the party but however I'm here and maybe some of you can help me out. I'm looking forward to some peacefully strategies for an consolidated start in an era of war.

If you want peace, you need to either take a stronger faction or take a small one and conquer other small ones. Once you are big enough and there are many smaller clans around, the enemies will prefer attacking them rather than you.
However, there is not much peace in this game I fear XD

Thank you for your replay Nyrael. I guess a lack of peace is fair enough :happy: So I guess I have to fallow the old latin adage Si vis pacem, para bellum - If you want peace, prepare for war.

More than just preparing for war, in this game you have to be the aggressor. You cannot win without conquering a LOT of provinces.

Even after you blob, you can stay peaceful for a while, but eventually other blobs will form and you will have to fight them.
This is a pure war-game. If you want a more peaceful game, try EU4, albeit Japan is not as detailed as in Sengoku.
