CK2 Version: 2.1.4 // It might run on 2.1.5, but no guarantees of it being issue free.

Remember to UNINSTALL previous versions of Elder Kings before installing a new version or you run the risk of conflicting files.

Elder Kings is not considered fully compatible with 32-bit Operating Systems due to increased instability. If you want to try Elder Kings on your 32-bit System you should download the Zip Archive and follow the installation instructions within as the Installer is now 64bit only. We advise you to ensure you have the latest drivers for your Motherboard/CPU and your Graphics Processor. To increase the chances of Elder Kings running on your 32-bit System, disable all unnecessary DLC (Music Packs, Dynasty Shield Packs, Sunset Invasion, Unit Packs) and do not use the optional Music Mod. Finally another thing you can try is to increase the size of your virtual memory paging file if using a Windows 32bit OS; simply google for your specific OS for instructions on how to do this.
Note that Rajas of India with it's map expansion caused some similar issues people experience with Elder Kings in vanilla. Paradox has been optimising the game for the past few patches, and it's quite possible that Elder Kings will now run more smoothly on machines that have in the past had issues running it at all, so feel free to give the mod another shot, it may just work for you now.

The job role will be merged into "Court Priest" which will now represent a Court Mage/or a Court Priest depending on their Education (a different job becomes available dependent on Education).
- [Cont. from above] Certain job actions have also been reverted back to their vanilla Councillor and settings due to retarded AI.
- [Removed] Old vampire traits that are no longer in use.
- [Removed] Mer event-based pregnancy system. Mer Pregnancy has been reset to standard pregnancy, although each birth can result in lower fertility.
- [Removed] Gain Honourary Title Ambition; it was AI only and the checks through liege to courtiers and vassals are broken apparently ~ too much time and effort to fix something a player is only spammed with.
- [Removed] Several unused traits that no longer serve a purpose (for example, "Thrall").
- [Removed] Religious clothing for the time being.

The following is incomplete in the release version due to last minute issues. As I didn't want to delay the mod release, elements of them are still included. They shouldn't break the game but be aware they may not work 100%;
- [Added] New Plot "Steal Artefact".
- [Added] New Prisoner decisions concerning Torture with a variety of situational purposes (for example, Torture: Relinquish Claim, force a prisoner to relinquish a claim, they can choose to relinquish it off the bat but usually will refuse requiring a little persuasion. Torture: Convert Religion will force convert a prisoner to your religion, however it generally leads to psychological as well as physical damage).

Known Issues
- Clothing/Headgears are missing, or hair bleeds through them across various portrait sets ~ This is a sideeffect of some rewriting we're doing to scripts concerning clothing in preparation for our custom clothing sets coming up in the next couple of patches.
- Hair Colours on some of the Mer don't suit their race/skintones (for example, Maormer Females have standard "human" colourings, while the males have blues, greens). ~ Resolved for 0.1.5a
- Falmer have no dynasties assigned.
- Due to the way special units are handled in CK2 now, Mages have been partially overwritten by Horse Archers again. 0.1.6 will include an overhaul of Unit types and tactics.

That changelog is huge! And I can't really get that it's nearly been half a year since 0.1.4 came out. This year has gone really fast! Anyways, I'm off to play and I might return with some feedback tonight!!
 
I have Windows7 64bit, and when I try to open the exe, it says the it isn´t a valid Win32 application. What may be the problem?

Both you and your partner need to have the homosexual trait, and both you and your partner need to be unmarried. Your partner also cannot have the same dynasty as you.

Trying to install it. I have 40´5 free GB of Space Disk, but it says I need 1.2 EB. EB? What is that? What´s happening? :S

I have no idea what that means. I've tested the installer locally before uploading and it didn't give me any issues.


Edit: Apparently it's an Exabyte, so it's telling you you need 1.2 billion GB free lol. Sounds like it may be a corrupted download from MODDB. Delete and redownload; you may want to wait until it's populated on more mirrors.
