Importing saves from cd to steam?

Hello,
I've bought Cities in Motion in autumn, I have got the cd and steam key, I installed the cd version with wine to Ubuntu. But I've discovered, that CiM now supports linux via steam. It seems working well, but I have played the cd version for few months and I want to import my cd saves to the steam version.
The cd version files are simply in my documents folder, but where are the steam saves? Or is there an other option to import it?

Save files are located in Documents\Cities in Motion\Saves
These are .gs files that you can copy to any other installation of the game.
