I have been a long time fan of DH and am moving to IC, which way to play IC do you guys prefer and why?

Believe it or not, I'm stuck with IC over Arma.
As far as I know most of ICs changes apply on this version.
Though I own DH as well, I didn't like some features like the tech tree, combat system, provinces etc.
I have played AoD many years ago, before it got a decent patch (1.04 may be?) and it didn't impress me that much.
Since they are all cheap enough to get, you could try it on DH and tell yourself.
My opinion is that IC is the best one can do aout of the HoI2 family, and the support is superb - 1.03 patch is almost perfect.
