How much is 1 game dollar:
Looking at the Panay incident - compensation of about 2,500,000 USD is 25 game dollars - or about 1:100,000.
Oil was worth about $1US/barrel and 1 Oil is 2500 barrels:
This should give $2500/1 Oil or 40 Oil to the game dollar
But the CORE manual indicates 1$ is about 12.5 Oil (same as metal).
So it seems to be out by a factor of about 3, or if oil is valued at the same as rares, then a factor of 6.
I guess transport and handling could bump up the price from 1/40 game dollar to 1/12.5 of a game dollar.
Would like to know so I can do some modding.
