As far as I can see, Paradox has still not implemented properly localised toolboxes and menu descriptions for HoD for the French version. There are plain bugs and I cannot understand how they overlook such a thing. Maybe they just dont care. Is there any fix for this?

AFAIK there was never any official French localization from PDS, therefore no official support.

That really is a shame. It seems like they changed the steam store page too, so that only English is mentioned under languages. Is there any way to deactivate HoD and just play vanilla, though?

I don't think this is possible.

(though, I don't think that game require a high english level. I doubt that there'll be any french localisation mod anyway).
