I am currently the Queen of Israel. I have conquered the majority of the Southern half of the map. I had set up my matri-marrige and assassinations to put my husband on the throne of the Saffarid (Persian) Kingdom (the Saffarids turned Jew when I wasn't looking), and thus my son to inherit both upon our deaths. Me and my husband, both in our old age now, are beating the everloving shit out of the Seljuks now. But then my husband creates the EMPIRE of Persia, which I am sure my genius, strong, and attractive son will inherit, thus making the primary title the Persian Empire.

I like neither the color nor name of the Empire and wish to remain the pretty blue of Israel. How do I either:
a) destroy the title,
b) remove my son from the line of Persian succession, or
c) change Persian color to pretty Israeli blue?

Ironman or not? If you're on Ironman there is nothing you can do except lose your title to a faction after you've gained it. If you're not on Ironman, there are a variety of options if you don't mind cheating.

edit: Make a copy of your savegame, just in case.

Press shift+3 to bring up console.
"Charinfo 1" will enable character details on their tooltips.
Now choose a random unlanded courtier. Find his character ID in the tooltip.
"give_title e_persia INSERTCOURTIERIDHERE"
The unlanded courtier will become the new persian emperor and within a few days the game will realize he doesn't have any landed holdings and delete the title as whole.
Now restart the game to disable the charinfo tooptips again.

Not sure whether the tag was e_persia or something else though...

Thanks!

why not modify the persian empire's color in the files, change it's name in-game and be done with it?

Indeed, then the only question is, "What do I name my new Jewish empire?"

You're doing a fantastic job of roleplaying a Jewish mother. After all, how could your son NOT be a strong, attractive, genius? :p

Uh...you don't have to restart to disable charinfo...

I forgot to mention this, but I also kinda want to drift everything de jure into the Kingdom of Israel. I have already titularized the Kingdoms of Arabia and Syria.

Is this even possible? Is Israel "normal" titular kingdom which can de jure drift duchies into it? Because Jerusalem or any of its duchies cannot drift out or in.

Jerusalem ain't drifting, but everything else is. Only Trebizond is left until Anatolia Titularizes. 10 more years until the Kingdom of Egypt Titularizes. I turned Israel into a de jure Kingdom through de jure drift.

Just now tested it. IT WORKED! Now I have no need for puny empires when I can form a mega Kingdom!

The empire of Zion?

What is de jure drift?

When a duchy is completely controlled by a kingdom other than its de jure one for 100 years, it becomes a de jure part of the other kingdom. For example:

If Scotland completely controls Northumberland for 100 years, Northumberland becomes a de jure part of Scotland instead of England.

Same thing works with Kingdoms and Empires. (i.e. when Brittania holds the de jure kingdom of France for 100 years, France becomes a de jure vassal of Britannia)
