Playing a game as a Suomonesko (sp?) Finland, and I read on the WIKI that when the game converts it alter the Base Tax based on how many holdings are in the province.

Finland, has less than average holdings per province. There aren't any provinces that are more than 3 slots, and several that are only 2, then some in the north tht just have the county capital and thats it.

So, it seems that I might have a hard time improving my nation much; I want to make a super strong, modern Finland with good income, which is certainly possible to do in CK2. But, when it converts to EUIV....it seems that much of that won't matter.

Is the base tax going to be that poor, and does nothing else convert over---manpower or tech?

The Converter is a CK2 DLC so this thread belongs there.

Tech converts over, although it's largely based on religion instead of actual technological progress –– and as a pagan, you'd only be able to get Western tech if you, say, conquered France.

I'm not sure if/how manpower converts.
