Seriously, the color scheme of the game hurts the eyes. Neon pink, neon green, neon blue, all in shades that really do not match. I decided to finally give the game a try, but it's pain to look at. Plus, it seems to be rendered in a sort of lower internal resolution, since all the beam weapons and stuff look really blurry and pixelated. Sots 1 was nowhere this ugly.
 
Switching off some of the visual effects (focal blur, for instance) can make it look a bit better.

The models look pretty good up-close, IMO (though depending on chosen colors they can come off odd), but what you can actually see while actively playing not so much.
