I hope you will finish European campaign in Brest, France and Lisbon in no time! Europe, feel the warm and cozy embrace of the bear!

What are a plan invading British Isle?

@Mighty: Republic of Moldova will be annexed later, for now it's more useful as a neutral buffer state.

@EmprorCoopinius: the latest version of MDS2DH is pretty good, no crashes.

@JodelDiplom: Well, they got crushed, the game is almost done, just preparing for ww4. . . .

@Alizon: The British Isles will remain intact for now.

General Anatoly Kvashnin planned a large scale offensive operation in Poland, his idea was to drive two strong pincer attacks against the entire EU front and trap the enemy in a large encirclement. The pincers were to close behind Warsaw and then exploit the enemy's rear areas.
While the two spearheads smash through enemy defenses, the supporting forces will launch probing and pusuing attacks on the enemy units that will try to retreat to escape the trap.
The general named the operation Brusilov after the famous World War I general.

Operation Brusilov

The offensive was set to start in May 11 at 5 am. General Kvashnin was under the supreme command of the Baltic-Belarusian Front, a massive formation made up of the Baltic and Belarusian fronts that were now merged into a single combat force.
In Asia, the Chinese invasion of Taiwan fails, the landing forces are pushed back into the sea, the chinese take heavy casualties.

By May 16, Finland falls under russian occupation, the Karelian Front is reorganizing in lapland to launch the invasion of Norway and Sweden.

2lcock1.jpg

In two weeks, Operation Brusilov ends in a decesive victory for the Russian forces. 11 enemy units are encircled in Warsaw, 5 units are retreating towards Warsaw while 4 units were completely anihilated in the fierce 14 day long battle.
General Kvashin offers 2 options to the commander of the troops trapped in Warsaw, he either surrenders or he'll face the mightiest artillery and air bombardment of the 20th century. 2360 artillery systems and 240 bombers were ready to open fire on Warsaw.
The enemy commander, a proud German lieutenant general refused to surrender it's forces, he didn't know that the nearest allied troops were over 100 km away by now, he still hoped for a counterattack, but the remaining EU forces that escaped the encirclement were already depleted and demoralized.

Operation Triumf by June 1, 2013

Eu troops are still fighting hard in Warsaw, but each day they take more and more casualties, the polish capitol is now in ruins after 4 days of continuous artillery and air bombardment.
In Romania, russian forces are sieging Bucharest and start planning the invasion of Bulgaria.

In June 4, Turkey joins SCO, this opens new fronts on Bulgaria and Israel, Syria will become a battle ground bery soon.

While the siege of Warsaw is still ongoing, the russian forces continue Operation Brusilov with an offensive towards Szczecin where most of the remnants of EU forces retreated to reorganize and launch a counteroffensive.
On June 8, Warsaw falls, thousands of EU troops are taken prisoners and sent to PoW camps in Ukraine and the Baltics. The polish government accepts surrender saying that the polish people suffered too much already to continue a war that Russia will win. A friendly regime is installed, under the leadership of Jozef Lachut, leader of the Polish Communist Party.

On June 11, DPR Korea declares war on Repubic of Korea and starts bombarding Seul, thousands of south koreans are killed in the first day of intense bombardment. The RoK Army starts to mobilize and move towards the demilitarized zone to stop the north korean invasion and then to launch an invasion of the north.

I know, but I didn't want to take their IC since I need them to build an army. Poland will probably be the strongest satelite state of Russia. And beside that it makes the map look ugly.

Over 95% of Poland is Polish anyways, so all or nothing would be the best 2 options anyways.

Moldova Still alive, why you do not Integrate them in Russia?
And Finland? They was part of Russian Empire in the past? :D

In June 12, 2009, SCO tries to draw Cuba into the alliance in order to use it's military bases to launch attacks on US mainland. After careful deliberations, the Cubans refuse to join the war effort because their security would be impossible to guarantee as the US Navy is in control of the Atlantic Ocean.

In June 19, the Russian Navy Battlefleet engages and defeats the British Navy in The Wash, near the coast of Norwich. The fleet was made up by Kirov class battlecruisers Pyotr Veliky, Admiral Nakhimov and Amiral Ushakov, as well as the sole russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsovand and the cruiser Marshal Ustinov.
Afer the british fleet is destroyed, the three battlecruisers launch modified P-700 Granit misiles towards London, british authorities reported that 42 missiles hit the city, one of them hit the Palace of Westminster Big Ben clock tower.

The offensive in Europe continues, joint Russian-Chinese forces break through every enemy stronghold. The only place where they are puting up a strong resistance is Uzhorod.
Turkey started the invasion of Bulgaria from the south while Romania is almost completely overrun.

In June 25, India joins NATO and declares war on SCO forces, their goal is to become an asian superpower by taking out Pakistan, their archenemy, and attacking China by surprise.
China is in a dangerous position, being attacked from India and Korea (the south koreans are ripping the north apart)
While the strategic situation in Asia is geting worser, General Kvashnin's Baltic-Belarusian Front launches is final attack towards Berlin with the objective to encircle and then assault it, 17 european units formed a defensive line over the Oder river to stall the russian offensive, but the low morale and shortage in manpower and equipment wont help the europeans stop the 400,000 battle hardened and high morale russian soldiers.
A german panzer division is encircled and destroyed in the Battle of Breslau.

By July 2, the Battle of Frankfurt-Oder develops into the largest armoured engagement since the Battle of Kursk, thousands of tanks are clashing into a bloody firestorm, the europeans put up a fierce resistance but at a great cost in human lives and equipment, ultimately they are overwhelmed and forced to retreat.

On July 3, Indian forces took control over the Pakistani capitol and force the government to surrender unconditionaly. With the majority of pakistani forces being in Europe at the time, indian forces stormed through their territory. The pakistani units under Russian command will keep fighting in Europe until the time comes for them to liberate their own country.
On July 6 more bad news come from Asia, North Korea has been defeated by the south, Kim Jong Il escapes into China with the remainder of his defeated army to continue the fight. South Korea already deployed its forces to launch an invasion of Manchuria and siege Vladivostok.
Vladivostol became a fortress city as 15 russian garrison divisions are guarding the city against korean attacks.

By July 7, Berlin falls together with 3 mechanized brigades that were defending it. General Kvashnin is now seeking to reinforce its flanks after the breakthrough from Frankfurt-Oder, so he launches 2 attacks, one towards Rostock and the second towards Liepzieg and Dresden.
But 2 hours after the offensive begins, General Kvashnin receives a message from the high command the Germany wishes to surrender. Next day, the russian and german flags are hoisted above the Bundestag.

Asia in July 25

In July 26 a coup d'etat happens in Serbia, nationalists suported by Russian intelligence services seize the power and join SCO to rebuild Yugoslavia.
With Romania and Bulgaria under full russian occupation, the SCO troops are moving into Serbia to launch a campaign against the ex-Yugoslav states and Albania.

Operation Luna starts in July 29

July 30, European diplomats are asking the russian counterparts about the possibility of an armistice between the two sides. Kharitinov has to accept this offer because of the situation in Asia and Turkey.
France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and Greece become a neutral side in this war.
Now, the victorious troops of the European Front will embark on a long road towards Manchuria and Turkey.
A large victory parade is held on the streets of Berlin under the eyes of thousands of Germans that can't believe what are they seeing.

That tank battle in Frankfurt at Oder area was really impressive!

Do not rebuild Yugoslavia, Greater Serbia will do fine. Serbian Radical Party would never form Yugoslavia, and as Serbofill (since you play Russia :) ), you wouldn't form it as well. We made that mistake twice, not anymore :D

July 20, 2009, with the end of war in Europe, Russia turns his aggressive diplomatic machine towards Republic of Moldova. The communist president Vladimir Voronin is given the option to peacefully join the Russian Federation as a federal republic. Voronin had no other option than to accept.

August 11, the British Army launches a surprise landing with a small force in Kiel, the enemy is quickly intercepted by Russian, Polish and German forces in the area. The brits are pushed back into the sea.

August 22, The Balkan Campaign is over, all former Yugoslavian nations except Slovenia are integrated into a new nation, the Serbian Federation, the 6th state to enter SCO as a full member, not as a sattelite state of the Russian Federation.

September 3, while SCO troops are deploying to southern Turkey to stop the joint US-Israeli invasion and launch a massive counterattack under the command of General Kvashnin Syrian Front, Iran decides that is the time to go to war against Israel again believing that with most of the NATO troops busy to defend the border with Turkey, they will be able to take Israel.

September 9, Kvasnin's counterattack hits hard the NATO forces in Turkey. Russian and Turkish forces smash through the enemy defences in 24 hours of battle.

By October 2, the Indian offensdive in China is stoped, the PLA forms a strong defensive line and prepares for a counteroffensive in the spring.

I'm currently running another MDS2 Russia AAR (actually a reboot of an earlier AAR in HoI2), so I guess we could try and share ideas with one another.

Anyway, hope the eagle and dragon falls beneath the might of the Bear!

Link to my AAR: both here and in my sig.

October 16th, 2010. While General Kvashnin is storming the Syrian plains pushing back the US and Israeli forces, General Andropov commanding the First and Second Manchurian Fronts is planning the offensive against South Korean forces that are giving a hard fight to the Chinese. The transiberian rail was unloading troops and supplies continuously for the last two months, over 700,000 men are to storm on the koreans and push them back to their peninsula.

33dwe41.jpg

The first attacks against South Korean forces prove to be very succesfull, the enemy is fatigued after the heavy fighting against the chinese and now that they are faced against experienced and high morale russian soldiers, the only thing they can do is retreat and plan a defensive operation.
South Korean manchurian offensive is over, SCO takes the strategic initiative.

swr9e9.jpg

After the first phase of the Operation Krestonosets is completed with a sounding and quick victory by SCO forces, General Kvashin's Syrian Front is now faced with the problem of fighting on a narrow front. The second phase of the operation is to smash through the enemy and take over Beirut, Akko and the Golan heights.

2j68gso.jpg

Russian forces advancing towards Israel

October 25, the Manchurian campaign is going well, A joint Russian-Chinese operation managed to encircle 4 korean infantry divisions in Jiamusi, they are soon flooded with artillery and air bombardment while ground forces put pressure from every side. 40,000 koreans were trapped, most of them became prisoners of war.

2yu0s8x.jpg

Two days later SCO forces on the indian front manage to encircle the entire Indian 45th Operational Corps in Sumdo, russian Special Operations forces launch fierce assaults on the enemys defensive positions. The Indians surrender after 3 days of battle.

2z4iscm.jpg

November 2, the koreans take massive casualties in manchuria and are in danger of being cut of from the south. That's exactly what Generla Andropov wants to do, trap the entire korean army before they can retreat over the Yalu river. The Koreans see the iminent threat and start to retreat their forces south to reinforce their flanks and build heavy defenses at the talu river and in the mountains.

ws0but.jpg

Between November 7 and 28, the Battle of Lebanon takes place. SCO and NATO forces fighting on a front 50 kilometers wide. The Russian Army employs massive amounts of armor and artillery against the US and Israeli forces. The tank battles are so fierce that hundreds of T-90, M1 Abrams and Merkava tanks are burning on the desert plains.
After 21 days of furious and bloody battle, the NATO forces are so battered that they have no other option than to retreat south to nw defensive zones.

dwvup4.jpg

Soon after the victory in Beirut, the Syrian Front is pushing on Akko, now heavly defended by NATO forces. The two sides clash violenlty between December 4 and 20. Again, NATO forces are driven back to the third line of defense. The casualties are massive, over 100,000 men dead or wounded of wich 40,000 are russians.
The enemy retreated because of the Kvashnin's spearhead offensive through the Golan heights that was now hiting the americans and israeli from the flank.

11vl1zp.jpg

While intense fighting is taking place in the Middle East, the korean forces are crushed and pushed back to their peninsula. Even though Andropov's plan to encircle and trap the korean forces in Manchuria failed, it did succeed to inflict massive casualties on the koreans and help the chinese forces to advance fast.
By December 5, russian armored forward elements reach the Yalu river.

The indians are pushed back by the Chinese

By December 25, the Korean forces were overrun and many retreating units found themselves deep behind enemy lines. The russian 25th Mechanized Corps reached Seoul and occupied the city without much of a fight. Large Korean forces are now encircled in Port Arthur and Sariwon.

x2lx1x.jpg

Also in December 25, the Russian forces continue the push into Israel and attack Haifa, another massive battle develops between the SCO and NATO forces.

zup2mb.jpg

In January 3, 2011, the Korean government surerender unconditionaly to the SCO forces after Busan falls to the advancing Russian and Chinese armies. The Chinese plan to put Kim Jong Il as leader over the entire Korean peninsula.

2s1kppz.jpg

After the fall of Korea the NATO forces in Israel and India expected a large force of russians and chinese to be deployed to the two theaters. This situations together with dissent rising back home in the USA, the NATO leaders decided that an armistice is now the best solution. The Battle of Haifa became a stalemate, huge casualties on both sides are wearing down popular support of the war, 120,000 dead and wounded in just 3 weeks.
The SCO leaders accept to meet the NATO counterparts in Switzerland to discuss the conditions for armistice.
General Kvashnin is ordered to stop the assault of Haifa and wait until the conference is over. This order came right before the General was ready to launch a decesive attack in the Battle of Haifa.

This makes me really want to try out MDS.
