The AAR has been stopped due to Waffle not updating in a month and we haven't played in a month as well. The reason we believe is because Ninja attacked him to help the serbs and me and chance are funding them with troops to keep them alive. we believe this is the reason for him stopping. We hope this clears things up and the rest of us are very sorry. We wanted to keep them alive for our own reasons and Waffle has "retaliated" by stopping with the updates and the game.
Wow, that's actually a pretty poor show from Waffle's part. I think the most interesting part of a multiplayer game like this where you aren't bound by house rules is that you aren't constrained by events as far as negotiations and such go. But I suppose that needs willing players.
I'm still alive but on vacation, when I get back I'll start rolling the updates out. I became uninspired due to lack inspiration, but read my lips no new taxes. ( and also finishing the aar.)
The Storm
The empire is now in a time of great change, our bloody wars are ending one after the other. The Russian bear is awaking from its post-wiltkreig slumber, and the Americas is molding into a socialist paradise. Even the Chinese are on the move conquering much of Manchuria. The decisions up ahead will seem unclear at times but Austria shall not perish from this Earth!

To no surprise the Russians continue to eat its small neighbors who have no chance to defend themselves.

On one side not that is also disturbing the Spanish civil war seems to be taking a socialist turn. This further expands its grasp around the world.
The bad news
The glorious day for the empire has finally come, the pesky Italians have been defeated ounce and for all. Mandatory celebrations were held around the empire.
Before the champagne has gone flat the Russians already are on the move, their massive army chose to invade Mongolia. Our government has issued a formal condemnation. Also the Serbian scum decided to annex it neighbor Bosnia, this is seen as a step too far. Local Austrian troops have been put on high alert and war readiness.

After our decisive victory over Hungary and troop occupation of the lands has finally come to fruition. The Hungarians have been integrated into the empire, and the Bohemians and Croatians have submitted to our glorious empire.
After the integration of much of the Balkans the time has come to choose a new government or stick with our current one. The best decision of our dangerous times is the centralized Danubian Federation. And so the elections will be held for new cabinet members.

With the new government comes questionable new policies, these include talks with the nationalists which seek anatomy of their nation. The new Prime Minister assured the cabinet that this is an appeasement measure.
We only went so far.
In recent new the Russians to no surprise annexed the Mongolians. And in breaking international news the French Commune troop crossed the German Border at 6:00 A.M. today. This is most disheartening news, as the Germans do not seem prepared to be in another Wiltkreig.

While the Second Wiltkrieg commenced the Russians entered an alliance with the Qing against Japan, but the Japanese appear to be establishing beach heads across Russia. But Fengtien fell quickly to the Qing.
The situation
What will 1940 hold for the federation? Will we get embroiled in the wiltkreig or stay neutral, one this is certain the tides of change are coming.
