In 1940 Marshal Pétain is 84 years old and must to save France for the second time.

DH Full 1.03 Normal. A Vichy France AAR.
I will try to get a not too bad armistice and save manpower to set a powerful Vichy government. Then I will fight against Free France rebels and Allies. If I survive I plan to push back the German over the Rhine.

Is it a good purpose for AAR?

So he can easily save France,Good Luck ^^

I think its quite an interesting idea. Last Vichy game I played saw me expel the Germans who where busy with the Russian bear only to fall prey to the allies

Sometimes a small but exellent army is not enough to patrol every coastal region in France....

This sounds very promising. Subscribed.

I'm pretty sure Brest is France's westernmost significant town. So in order to make it France's "eastern" border, you'd have to wrap the big blue blob all the way around the world, no?

Go for that!
Brześć, however, is the natural border town for eastern Vichy France... Although it might require some forceful negotiations to get the Germans to see it that way. Go east! Pétain will be the next Napoelon!

The Depression began to affect France around 1931. Hardship and unemployment were high enough to lead to rioting and the rise of the socialist Popular Front. Ultra-nationalist groups also saw increased popularity.

After seeing the horrors and atrocities of war during World War I the prevailing attitudes of most French citizens was that of pacifism and isolation.
