I'd like footpaths that do not grow buildings along them, for making parks and other open spaces

I know that this thread has been dead for a long time, but I want to revive it! I'm still playing CiM2 very often and this is the biggest problem I have encountered. Please make these pedestrian pathways in a next DLC or somebody make a mod!
I like this idea, seems like useful. Remember me the footpath of the RCT3. This is the most problem in the CiM2, the passengers walks a lot until reach an station, 'cause they cross streets only at crosswalks and often the streets and avenues are too long and not have these tracks.
