    East vs. West WOMENS's Edition!

    INTERNATIONALLY – April 1st, 2013
The East vs. West team is proud to bring to the gaming world one of the most surprising expansions in 2013 with a brand new radical idea that will absolutely blow your mind - East vs West WOMEN’s Edition!

Finally we bring womankind’s fight to gain a foothold in those spheres which rightfully belong to the man into a brutal and awesome Cold War setting. Crafted by our cunning designers and developers, East vs West explores the defining periods in world history where humanity was tittering on the brink of annihilation. Expanded gameplay mechanics will now enable you as a woman to access the SAME menus as any of your male gamers.
We're realizing this is such a revolutionary and completely unconventional approach that it borders to the unbelievable, still the game looks and feels identical to East vs West, with all the fantastic menus, the brand new music and the exciting battle with all means at your disposal. Starting in 1946 and rising from the ashes of World War 2 you will begin exactly the same as for any other gender.

    Say goodbye to pink
We have painstakingly scaled back all the pink tones in our much praised graphics and will displayed the same hard hammered steel and folder setup as any male strategy master would wish for.

Units are also made to show up EXACTLY the same regardless of if you are playing as a woman or if you let your husband load up the game. Drastically altering preconceived notions experience this terrifying but thrilling Cold War game.

    Main Features:
Gameplay enables the same content as for men.

    Key game elements include:
    - Economical income from our ingenious economical system is the same per tick and not reduced in ANY way. Other games of the genre with equally high quality usually only reward women 70% of what their male friends would earn but that is all a distant pale memory.
    - The research system contains actual tech and doctrines with military units instead of household appliances
    - Enjoy the ship builder and design your own battleships or nuclear submarines without the usual need for a wet t-shirt photo shoot to gain access to such military hardware
    - Voting in the UN will yield full points, not in any way reduced to an advisory role or one of being the interpreter for the other delegates
    - Cabinet meetings with your government in politics screen will not be limited to you serving coffee and tea to the Head of State and Head of Government
    - Unique feature for events where photographs include pictures of all the delegates including women above the usual cap of one woman per photo
    - Spy missions will be carried out as instructed via the splendid use of fantastic spy cards instead of consisting of a gathering of spies all trying to get a photo under your skirt or into your cleavage
    - Experience time ticks the same way as male gamers where time ticks away at the same rate as for anyone else without delay
    - Unique game experience where we give you ALL the keys to your own nuclear arsenal not requiring your brothers, husband or uncles to hold a second key for you to be able to launch
    - We’re also for the first time removing the demand for you to be wearing a uniform when playing the game. Instead you can just wear any regular power suit like our male gamers.

Finally, both sexes can interact to get the most authentic gameplay so far of the era. Ladies, we will see you on the battlefield!

Nice try, but with no offense, it wasn't that funny.
The Crusader Kings Z was a bit better.

I really like the style and the way in which they are drawn/rendered - are all the unit images going to be like this?

Not part of the gender themed post but what sort-of program was used to create the models in the screenshot?
    How many polygons?

    Those are nice models.

Yes all units have an image, for each model...
Land units alone are about 500 images.
Its a mixed batch between rendered models and actual images photoshopped to look nice ingame.
Poligon needs depends on the model complexity, like ajay described the ships are immensly more complicated than a simple hummer.
The models ajay made for this game are around 5000 poligons ( HOI3 models where usually far below 500 )

Well, not as fun as Crusader Kings II Z, but we got a screenshot for the game, so it´s ok.
    I can forgive, but i can´t forget.

And luckily the reality has no advertising budget...

I know it's a joke post, but did they just sneak in a new screen shot on us?

Edit - I see that was confirmed above.

Combat width -1.0??? Anyway, it looks like the combat system will be extremely similar to or the same as pre-TFH's one (I don't see Armour and Piercing stats).
