So I'm King of Ireland. I keep nominating as my heir (old school Elective, not Tanistry) a family member who I think is best for the job (stewardship is through the roof, no bad traits, wife is amazing also).
But my electors refuse to support my nomination! No amount of assassinating or bribery will fix it. Nor does revoking titles.
Is it because the one I nominate is Scottish while we're all mostly Irish?
Is it because he's married to an English Dutchess (of Hereford)? It's a normal marriage, not matrilineal.
I just want to play as this guy. I have not played CKII in more than a year, I do not recall Elective being this difficult to rig.
