offline LAN mode and DRM free?

this game looks awesome to say the least!

i have 2 questions however:
- will multiplayer be possible locally over LAN without the need of an internet connection?
- will the game also be available DRM free (e.g. via GOG or humble store)?

Not sure about LAN, but because the game seemingly uses steamworks its unlikely it will be available DRM free.

Not sure about it. By the way when you have no Internet connection you can not connect to the Paradox Servers - That means no.
