Not sure exactly what happened, but it won't close - you need to search for another shard of the grail - is the message I get. Search where?

Basically you don't really have to look for anything specifically. Just continue doing the quests and following the storyline.
*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
The shard that the game is telling you to find is actually the shard being held by Septimus Sulla, which he believes is a shard of Hadrian's Wreath. To find it you just have to follow the quest line the game lays out for Morgana Le Fay in the lands just south of Hadrian's Wall.
