NORTH AMERICA SERIES GAME #6

TABLE OF CONTENT

Updated April 7th

Our 6th MP game began on December 13th. This time, I will drive the show, as I play Germany (The “Big Bad Boy”).

This AAR covers European War from an Axis perspective. There will be some glimpse of Asia, but probably less than in previous AAR, as I expect to have my hands full with Germany, which shall give me less time to write down the list of events occurring throughout the worlds as the game progress.

Here is the TABLE OF CONTENT, which will be updated on a regular basis.

This AAR will be written in a telegraphic style. Events and dates, with a short description, like in AAR for Game 5, with pictures, of course. Some in depth sections, when I will be able to do so. I shall encounter less problems for translation, as I do speak German (“I spreche ein biβchen Deutsch”), which was not the case of Romanian.

NDLR: Keep in mind that our official translators’ office, the Bureau of Communication with Foreigners, is very busy and, as such, you may find out, while reading our AAR, that our English might not be as good as you hoped it to be. For any complaints, you can get in touch with our customers service, 24/24 hours, at 1-418-234-2779 (1-418-BeH-appy).

NEXT CHRONICLES

Our MP game is played on every Wednesday (starting December 13th). As such, you can expect an update over the following week-end. The only exception is that the 1st post of this AAR should not be expected until I’m done with AAR of Game 5 .

ABOUT THE BANNER

Our banner is a reproduction of Guernica, a masterful painting by Pablo Picasso.

Extract from Wiki:

This painting was created in response to the bombing of Guernica, a Basque Country village in northern Spain by German and Italian warplanes at the behest of the Spanish Nationalist forces, on 26 April 1937, during the Spanish Civil War. The Spanish Republican government commissioned Picasso to create a large mural for the Spanish display at the Paris International Exposition at the 1937 World's Fair in Paris. Guernica shows the tragedies of war and the suffering it inflicts upon individuals, particularly innocent civilians. This work has gained a monumental status, becoming a perpetual reminder of the tragedies of war, an anti-war symbol, and an embodiment of peace.

Let's see how fast you can finish this AAR :)

Well, technically, the other one is not done yet (even if the game is). I still have 2 posts to add. One for the last 2 sessions (currently on my desk) and a last one called "Romania: Aftermath", as I alwasy do.

btw, AAR of Game #5 updated.

HERE !

Table of content updated. See post #2.

Intresting i think (but you need to look out for the Soviet Beast killer, Tigers, Elephants and panthers, your are warned!)

Yeah ! We shall have some room for some HARM and, why not, push our luck to include some SHARM to add even more flavor... We will see. But I would love to field a real "Tiger schwere Abteilung Division" during our next game.

NDLR: We got pretty unlucky, or we missed something, who knows... But the Austrians support to NSADP was too low and we had to come to their help in order to fire "Anschluss Event". Then, by another spell "Faked History" usually keeps in reserve, the Tcheks refused to abdicate and be turned into Slovakia...

AARLand link updated in 1st post.

New update for ARR incoming witihin a week. I'm waiting to have some delay between the game currently being played and the AAR as to be able to post interesting stuff, while not giving away too valuable stuff to the other side...

Did you call your AAR-Newspaper "Die Stimmer" on purpose? If you're aiming for "The Voice", it should be "Die Stimme", without the "r" ("Stimmer" isn't a word in German). Also, are you aware that in real life "Die Stimme" was a Jewish newspaper from Austria published during the 1930s?

Ho ! Yes, my intention was to name it" The Voice". So the "r" will be removed ASAP... ... and I will throw to the garbage my translator. That's the first time it fails me in German. I usually used my old Collins but I was lazzy and just used my online translator... I should have been more careful.

P.S. I did not know for the Jewish newspaper, that's a funny thing only life can bring out !

A quick update to our readers

We played so far up to Nov. 30th 1939. Tonight, our session could get us to mid-February.

There will be an update soon (+errata corrections), as I will post something that will cover the last events up to Sept. 1st 1939.

Then, I will post a new update as soon as we get enough space between AAR and the events occuring in the game, as the battle for France is a fierce one and no side would gain from showing stuff that would affect the balance.

So, stay tuned !
