    Is anyone else having a problem with the borders of ingame windows (such as those of the ledger) going transparent after a while? It corrects itself if i restart the game but another half an hour or so of gameplay and the problem reappears.

    The event in which you can hand over Roma to the Papal states, where you can say "we shall never support such a state" is bugged. It keeps firing even after the flag "no_support" is set on the country. It is the first event described in #0001081 - PapalState.txt

    EDIT: I also find no references to the "no_support" flag whatsoever in the save game file and the files in the common folder... thus, you are gaining two infamy whenever the event pops up @_@ I'm not sure how "flags" work, but shouldn't I be able to see it in the save game file? And isn't the flag itself suppose to be found in one of the event modifiers in the common folder?

    The event looks fine to me.
    Your first problem is that you're looking in the wrong place. Event #1081 is completely commented out and there's a note saying that it is now event #551600.
    Looking at that one, as long as you're Catholic and the Pope is homeless he's going to be asking for Rome back and everyone is going to get mad at you for denying him.
    As for the flag business, flags don't need to be defined anywhere. It's essentially just a string that is attached to the country that the game checks for whenever has_<place>_flag is called (which is probably why the devs have warned that those checks are slow in EU3; string compares are slow compared to other forms of comparison).

    Indeed, making a search for a given flag (being extra careful on spelling, and remembering it's case-sensitive) in the savefile should give a result, as long as the flag hasn't been cleared by an event or a decision.

    Let's not rush it. I'd rather a delayed bug-free release than a hasty problematic one.
    I'm hoping I'll be able to start and play more than a year my Hussite game once this patch is out.

    Finally motivated myself to stop lurking and post some bugs I've found. First want to say that I love the mod. It makes the game a lot more enjoyable and deep while not increasing the complexity too much.

    First bug is pretty minor but when playing as a muslim nation that owns provinces in Europe the counter-reformation events keep firing on me and improving my relations with the papal state. I think I even got one when I had no majority christian provinces.

    The other bug was a bit more serious. When I was allied with the Timurd Empire they would call me into their horde wars (I didn't think that was even supposed to be possible) and I would become war leader, then immediately get the "the nomads have gone elsewhere" message and the war would seemingly end (the shield would disappear) except that it didn't. When I eventually dissolved the alliance I could still see all of Timurd's units and on the diplomacy map they showed up as allied in a war. I looked in the save file and the wars were still listed as being active wars but they had no current attackers listed only defenders. The final timeline entry in each war was to remove the primary attacker but the defenders were never removed. I manually deleted all the defenders (me, Timurd and several vassals) and reloaded and that fixed the problem.

    I'm seeing this as well. Also sort of ruined my Muscovy game when all the horde provinces cored as enemies of the empire. (Also France got roflstomped into wuss green.)

    On a more general note, is there anything an Orthodox nation can do for more infamy burn before govt 20 beyond a tiny bit from an advisor and your ruler? The chain flipping horde provinces can really skyrocket your infamy if your king is less than a diplomatic fellow. :/

    Which leads to my next question-if I refuse when the event fires will it fire again for that province later? I can't read the war dynamism text file to figure it out.

    borders going invisible is an issue if you haven't installed the 2Gb or 4Gb fixes. Check the installation/FAQ threads.

    This should have been corrected already in one of the patches already released.

    Ah I may have installed 5.4.02 after the counter reformation flag was already set on my nation.

    If it was it was something that affected the hordes or their neighbors that I didn't see. Investigating it further Timurd was only able to call allies in against two of their multiple horde neighbors specifically Sibir and Kashgari. There appears to have been something really strange that happened to Sibir somehow they became a vassal of Astrakhan in the 1540s while still a horde and I think that was about the point where I started getting called in against them. Kashgari also appear to have somehow replaced Chaggati completely fairly early in the game (1387) while they still had a sizeable empire (at least 10 provinces) and I was getting called in against them right away after I allied with Timurd. I have a few save files from the time frame tonight I'll try playing as some of the countries in that area and see if I can get more information.

    I've been playing 5.4.02 since I didn't realise there was a new version out but I've hit a snag with the reformation, I think? It's 1526 and the Schism ended sometime in the late 15th century after the anti-pope moved to Mar and then a province in Poland before being annexed. I was waiting anxiously for the reformation to start but now its been 10 years and no events or announcements have popped up about it and the schism effect isn't active on Christian nations anymore.
    Is this normal or if its bugged can I start the reformation through an event code and have it work properly?

    Well, the feature is built so that it is random as to its start date.

    But if you send me a savegame to gigau_@hotmail.com, i can check were you're at in the Protestantism process.

    Note that the Schism, with the Antipope, has no direct impact on the Spread of Protestantism.
