i just bought mount&blade collection from steam. i was able to register fire&sword but warband. it says "Invalid key for Mount & Blade: Warband". what should i do?

The exact same thing happened to me
I did too and I also have the problem. For the first two hours my key was invalid on Steam, so I can only guess that whoever controls the keys is making some sort of registration error.
I've passed the question on for Community Management attention.

Same deal here, as far as these forums are concerned. The key worked on the Tale Worlds boards. Haven't tried multiplayer yet.

Now qbln & calebmarkle got theirs to work... What did you guys do? I just tried mine again; no dice!
Some keys weren't delivered to Paradox in a format making it possible to add them to the "icons and registrations database", so not all keys are possible to register. (This is why all subforums for M&B are open to all registered users, whether they have the games registered or not)
I thought that had cleared up at least for new keys, but it does not have to be the case. Either way, with any luck the community manager will back from his vacation and can help out by at least posting that he'll look into it.

If only it had been a vacation. I was infested with evil flu germs and been incapacitated :/
Anyway, it seems that perhaps taleworlds has been issuing new keys again without handing them to us. I will contact them about it. Thanks for the heads up!
