I want to wipe out all the nations and cores so I can start modding a fresh new world but a lot of the stuff is contained in the province files. Is there a quick and easy way of blanking all these files without manually editing all 2000 or so so that they're like colonial Africa so I can start modding countries in with a blank slate?

If you find a good text editor, with support to regular expressions (or scripts) they can process all files in one go.

if there is a thread about this then i can't find it so ill ask the question:
i need to remove certain states but not all of them e.g. i want Europe and Asia intact but the rest of the world not belonging to anyone
so can anyone point out how to do that? or tell me where the thread is containing the information? (that if it exists)
