This is the first of hearing about "refer a friend" thing. I was hoping TotalyMoo would follow up on this. Were there any links in your email to have your friend visit? It's the only thing I can suggest to look for. I've not really done many beta tests with Paradox before, so I can't go on past experience to help you here.
