Congratulations Baega, you've just set up a strawman! I'm pretty consistently on the side of beefing up the ROTW and I've never done a world conquest with any country. Because the thought of anybody conquering the world sometime between 1399 and 1820 is ludicrous.

Well it's not that ludicrous in the riciculous game world that you have in EU3. I mean, if you play a game into the 1750s the world looks far more like 1890 than any other time period in our world.

But that complete lack of historical accuracy (Spain dominating the African coast before the invention of the steamboat, machine guns, etc) shouldn't be in EU4 and it looks like the new colonial system will cut down on the colonial capabilities of random trading countries

It´s not about doing world conquest obviously but many players do want to do ahistorical conquests with mediocre countries, else we wouldn´t see so many people bothering with actually giving a possibility of survival to cherokees, zulus etc. And obviously people don´t play the zulus or Ryu Kyu to end as a one province country.
