What wonders me... maybe this time AI will be at least competitive in multiplayer enough to survive? XD

Right now, development version of EU4 looks like they just ported the EU3 Divine Wind set up into new environment, so it kinda looks exactly like EU3 (with the difference that some new mechanics also appear, like trading things over the seas, and changing seasons etc).

Point is, 6 months from now, they could rework the game so much, both as in reshaping things (borders etc) and as in adding new features, that you literally might not even recognize the game any more.

For example, just imagine a screenie where youd be able to see cavalry sprites standing right next to infantry sprites. Small details that could change the entire "feeling".

GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO

Now to play the waiting game until we can have MEIOU's baroque glory fast enough for it XD

Not to be that guy, but why release a 5.2 beta patch if there's going to be a new game a year down the road...? Seems odd that they'd still be working on EU3 while setting up EU4.

Seems interesting on the outset, looking forward to receiving more details.

Yeah...don't enable them. Just because it won't necessarily give them any more profits doesn't mean they shouldn't continue to fix problems in an (old) game.
