The Game of WEREWOLF lite

Welcome to the game of Werewolf. No other experience will twist your mind and force you to look into the deep recesses of your own soul like the anarchy and chaos of this game. All are welcome to join, but beware: that haunting melody of laughter you hear dancing on the wind can quickly turn into the ferocious growl of a beast from Hell.

This thread represents a Tavern. The Tavern is in the village green of a small, backwards village tucked away in a corner of the Carpathian mountains. You have lived in this village your entire life, living the simple life of a farmer, and you think you know the other patrons at the Tavern. But you don't really know them. Because behind the shifty eyes and hunched backs and angry scowls lies a deep secret that every villager here keeps. For some of them are not just villagers. Some of them are degenerate worshippers of an evil religion, and have transformed themselves into terrible creatures, such as Werewolves. There is still hope; for some of these villagers are secretly heroes, hiding an identity that could deliver you and your fellow villagers from certain death at the hands of these foul beasts. A deadly battle must be waged between the forces of good and evil, and only one side will prevail. But this isn't a battle of axes and torches; because you do not really know who is good and who is evil, this will be a battle of wills. Each night, the werewolves will hunt one villager... pray that it is not you. And each day, you and the other survivors must come to this tavern to witness the terrible carnage wrought by the werewolves, and to debate amongst your fellow villagers who must pay the ultimate price for this devilry. To defeat this terror, you must find the evildoers from amongst the village, and lynch them.

Rules:

There shall be seventeen (17) players. Special Roles will be handed out after the last person signs up.

The game will then proceed to a Night deadline.

The game is divided into two periods - night and day. For practical reasons these two periods take place at the same time, from one update till the next.
Each day, all players gather and decide to lynch one of the players - the person they think is most likely to be a werewolf. Each night, the werewolves decide who to kill. In each 24 hour period, the village will lynch, and the werewolves will hunt. The villagers can try to lynch multiple people by creating a glorious, Lemeard-approved, TIE, and the werewolves can also decide not to hunt anyone at all at night. Beware of Crovaxian slips as well!

Winning:

The werewolves win if they manage to reach parity with the villagers.
The villagers and seer win if they manage to kill all the werewolves.

Possible Player Roles:
Villager: The simplest role, a villager knows nothing for sure, but can use the power of his vote to help lynch others.
Seer: Can scan one person each night to check to see whether he is a werewolf, warlock, or villager.
Werewolf: A sinister, evil player who, along with his partners, try to eliminate all the good players. Each night, the werewolves hunt a player.
Warlock:
A friend to the werewolves, who, each night, can block any other player from using a special role. If he chooses to block the seer or the guardian angel, the seer / guardian angel cannot scan / protect that night. He does not know the identity of the wolves at the start. His powers will not block the wolves from hunting (unless he blocks the last wolf standing), incase he accidentally targets one of them.
Guardian Angel: Each night, the guardian angel can choose to protect someone from a werewolf attack. He cannot protect the same person two nights in a row and he cannot protect himself.

Possible Role Set-ups: These are the possible ways roles will be distributed. I will randomly select one set-up; each possibility has an equal chance of being chosen. Once the set-up is determined, it will stay that way throughout the entire game.

In with the old school.

I was just thinking of this recently, too. Heimdall ran a set-up like this.
