Are you sure you use the correct capitalization? You need to write your username exactly as it is on these forums.

It should work, are you using proper capitalization when you submit your forum account for transfer?

Do the new forums require Beta access to log in? I haven't been able to log in and suspect that may be the case. Some of us have been posting in the one open forum for some time now and would love a place where we can continue to ask questions and otherwise "contribute" without interfering with the tester feedback.

Yes, they do require a beta key to create an account.

As for contributing, this forum will still be very much here and monitored by me and others.

Go to the link above. There should be a link saying something like "Transfer account". Click that and follow the instructions. You should then be able to log into the forums. In order to play, make sure you download the client from the link provided after transferring your account.

I use 100% correct username and password (after all, here on the forum I go easy). I tried to change the password - did not help. Friends have given a different key, and I registered it. Gentlemen, when moving from other players have problems and I'm not the only one. Best regards Sergey.

Guys,

I have followed the instructions and can not: transfer account/register account or log into the forums. I have managed to log into and activate the beta key I received to this site.

Might I suggest adding some basic instructions to the landing page and basic user registration functions that doesnt involve redirecting to multiple sites. This has been one of the most cumbersome and completely un-user friendly log in processes I have ever encountered. Frankly it sucks alot.

If you're transfering an existing Paradox beta account, make sure to use the proper user name--capitalization counts!.

If you're registering a new beta key, follow the "register beta account" link and fill out the boxes: User name (again pay attention to capitalization), beta key, and password. If done correctly, you should get a link to download the client.

FYI the username I entered apparently was out of naming policy. A reasonable tip would be to explain what characters can and can't be in the name.
