Blxz - you're correct in that I'm trying to have the Riverlands and North break free under Hullen, but Ned is being stubborn about a) dying or b) finding something to do in the meantime. I'm debating my options as I know some people are still enjoying Ned and others want to move on. I personally do want to finish at least the goal of independence, but I'm also eager to try the CoK scenario due to the increased opportunities that a divided world can offer.

ok...confession time. I've been watching all of these with great interest, but I need to stop watching them right before bedtime because your voice is so relaxing and pleasant it puts me to sleep before I can finish an episode. Really nice work Saithis.

Yeah, your voice does the same to me in my prime watching time after work. I fell out of my chair the other night and smashed my face on the ground quite badly because I fell asleep (few things more disorientating than waking up in midair with relaxing dulcet tones in the background). A little embarrassing but worth the pain to watch the AAR.

I've decided on a new family for the next part, which will be in v0.3.1 as Hobbes mentioned. Hopefully we shouldn't see a new version out before 1.7 rolls off the line. But first, I'm determined to finish a HOI AAR update today...

You have made me a very happy man.

Also, I forgot to include in my previous post (and it is too late to edit now since you already posted below it), I don't think you should start another CK2 AAR alongside this one. My vote would be to either wrap this one up by doing some cutting and showing us the highlights and bringing it to a close or to just work through it and finish it before getting the new version started. I think you have more than enough AAR's going concurrently and more frequent updates on fewer AAR's works better for me personally.

EDIT: By my reckoning it must be about 1am monday morning for you now. Unless you have some other HOI AAR's somewhere that I don't know about, I can guess that life got in the way of your plans again. I can empathise with that, sometimes you gotta have priorities instead of fun. Better luck next weekend.

Nice, and your hope for a scenario where the kingdoms are independent might be fulfilled soon. They are talking about releasing the Aegon's Landing scenario with the next version. (although I suspect the kingdoms won't be independent for long, with dragons and all).

The bad: I've suffered some serious save corruption during shifting of files in preparation for my new computer. I have backups but haven't been as vigilant as I should have been, and I'm some episodes behind now. I'm going to try and do what I can to recreate the scenario but it's going to take time I don't have right now. The answer? Plough on with more Westeros from a different angle!
