Hello!

Ive recently had an urge to get some hours in on EU Rome but seem to have lost the original disc that I purchased in the store. As you can see I do have the game registered. Is there any way for me to get a copy of the game and simply enter my CD key or do I just have to buy it again?

I believe that facility did exist for EU3:Complete for a while (buying a hard copy gave you a download key on GamersGate) but AFAIK it never applied to Rome. In any case the download key would have been in the box, so if you lost that before you registered it, well, you're still out of luck!

But yes, if you only had the Rome base game and not VV you may as well buy Gold and get both, whether from GG, Steam or anyone else.

The sale is going to change daily, you can also get a free download of rome (without expansion) on gamersgate by going to the VOID section.

Right, the concept of the sale is understood however it clearly states "40% off the rest of the Paradox catalog.." and Rome Gold is still not discounted.

Yeah, I was wondering about that as well. You could shoot an email to the Gamersgate customer service and ask them why it's been omitted. It's a pretty misleading claim that the "rest of the Paradox catalog" is discounted when it clearly is not, so it may simply be an error on their part and nothing intentional.

Pre-order of Rome: Collector's Edition came with free GG copy. But AFAIK it's only offer which gave you both physical and digital copy of the game.

Okay; so I found this void thing and wanted to try rome? Is it free to play forever? o.0 fascinating

Try and find out. I think there is limited amount of games you can play at the same time and if i'm not mistaken, then there is time limit like 30 days or something as well. If it doesn't count days on your void page then it should be there forever (in theory anyway).

Good deal. Glad this is resolved. Also glad you were a Diplomacy player! :)
