Thing is I want to change an option for recruit generals, and after wait so long gone so far in "middle" of my little world conquest campaign I find out that this is the cause why i can't get to recruit any general...so please tell me I don't need to restart it all over, any way I will start it all over for the time being...
Did you set it to historical rulers?
Anyways, open your save with notepad and you should see this line at the top:
setgameplayoptions=
{
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 }
The 0's will be replaced by 1/2/3/4 depending on which settings you use. The option for historical rulers is the second 0, the one I highlighted. It should be 1 in your savefile, just change it back to 0 and you're good to go.
