I have a feeling that the French are going to keep attacking you... have you thought about taking French colonies in any future wars? Indochina, if they control it, would be a nice addition to your Southeast Asian empire.

part 8- colonization for the nation
the year 1870 starts with the local german goverment in lagos justifying war against sokoto in attempt to increase the size of the german west africa
in june our brave explorers discover the source of the nile, that unfortunatly for the kaiser is named after the future grandmother of europe queen victoria of the united kingdom
in 1872 we defeat sokoto useing a revolutionary new weapon the machine gun, bismarck decides that this invention will help us subdue the natives in the interior of africa and decides that it's is time for africa to be german
the german colony of lagos is expanded north and east with the succesful colonization of the surronding area in 1872
after our succes it isant long before the other great powers join in, in 1873 great britain and italy start colonizeing
in 1873 kaiser-wilhelms land is proclaimed and a military base is built in port stanley. and the german goverment decides to support the krupp family
a huge rebellion begins in june as prussian, north german and bavarian natinalists rise up,
by 1875 britain and italy have completed their first colonies and spain has joined the scramble for africa. and in the mean time germany's empire continues to grow
and in the far east german has taken full control over borneo and papua new guinea
to prevent war a conference is called in berlin to try and stop the great powers from going to war over africa.
britain, portugal, spain, italy, the ottoman empire and france all attend the confrence. bismarck presents a proposed map for africa showing where every nation is aloud to colonize. us, britain and portugal are all satified with the map but the over nations are demanding more of africa. in the aftermath of the conference all nations begin colonizeing with even greater speed attempting to grab as much land as possible before someone else can.
after the failure of the conference to stabilize the situation there is the threat of another war in europe, but when will this war start? perhaps it will never start or maybe it will start tommorow, all we know is it's coming.

What exactly do the 'Support the Krupp Family' and 'Kaiser Wilhelm Land' decisions do?
Kaiser Wilhelm Land changes the name of Northern New Guinea provinces around a bit. The Krupp Family I can't remember off the top of my head
great AAR! sorry for being a bit nit-picky here, but you've got an image of a Gatling gun, not a machine gun.
yeah it is a gatling gun wich is technically a kind of machine gun, and the kupp family changes you things like you get 15% bonus when reaserching military, technology and naval (well it's something along those lines)
edit- this is the first AHD game ive had where britains one of the first countries to colonize, but im fed up of them colonizeing north africa and not south africa.

part 9- africa scrambled
the year 1875 begins with the sick man of europe attempting to get a little better by chewing up egypt.
and we get a bit of pestige because of richard wagner
ithe russians are rebelling against the goverment and by september they had conquered huge swaythes of the empire
things were looking pretty peacfull in germany until the king looked in the newspaper and discovered that we have enabled communism in the world and that the people are revolting, they king told bismarck it's not the peoples fault they are ugly to which bismarck replied no they are rising up against us but yes they are a bit revolting.
in 1876 we heard about the possiblity of great wars all bismarck had to say was god help us all
and in other news more prussian and bavarian natinalists
to get rid of the rebels and calm the situation down the king decides to enact the political reform of wealth voteing
bismarck orders new naval and military bases to be built across africa, and proposes the construction of a railroad from lagos to lamu across africa
in 1879 the portugese goverment is overthrown and the new goverment requests an alliance with german wich we gladly accept, and to show that we are commited to the alliance we rid angola of rebels for portugal
1880 and we all celebrate as the german language is now unified just like germany itself

You could think about grabbing Egypt before someone else does... It certainly would fit in well, linking your central African territories with the Suez. Also, there's surely some advantage to holding the Holy Land.
i thought i could annex them if a great war happens similar to what britain did when the ottoman empire entered ww1

in april we begin reaserch on steel steamers to increase the strenght of our small navy of transport ships
in august our troops march into sokoto and easily defeat the sokoto army in one battle
in 1881 after we finish reaserching steel steamers we enact the dicission that reduces ship building time
in october we formally take control of sokoto and incorporate it into the empire
in 1882 an attack is launched on a workhouse by unhappy locals, and unemployement is rising and the unemployed whant low subsidies
a small rebellion begins in western germany but is quickly defeated
in 1883 britain declares war on france to try and retake british guyana and the ottomans attack egypt once again
in 1883 disaster struck the german colony of jave with over 40,000 reported dead, all the king had to say was eeep!
the war isant going well for britain and france decides to add a wargoal to aquire south-west england
in october the british colonial troops launch an invasion of pondicherry and french islands in the carribean
in 184 we discover protected crusier the king orders the construction of 20 crusiers
in 1884 it's official the scarmble for africa is over with 7 african states sleft in existance but of those 7 only 3 are native african nations, with the boer republics being ruled by the decendents of the dutch who first colonized south africa and liberia being founded by the americans as a place for freed slaves to go.

part 11- three kings
we start 1885 by enacting another disussion and we gain 25 prestige from it, and we accept an alliance offer from the russian empire
on march the 31 1885 we discover oil in brunei and the colony of borneo which includes brunei quickly becomes our most profitable colony
in 1886 the italians take control of the african state of tunis, which almost leads to war with the french and the ottomans who oppose the move but they soon back down after we and russia back the italians
the war between britain and france continue and we notice the british forces battleing the french near our borders
in december we declare war on abu dhabi to control the rumered oil reserves that exist there
the war ends in july 1887
in august the bismarck decides to add 10 crusiers to the caribean fleet, and the rumers of large amounts of oil existing in abu dhabi are proven to be true
in march disaster stikes as the german emperor william the 1st dies and is replaced by his son fredrick the 3rd, and fredrick enacts the dissision natinal banking act
fredricks reign didnt last long because after 99 days as german emperor he dies and is succeded by his son wilhelm, 1888 was named year of the 3 emperors
wilhelm was young and both envied and respected british naval power, he ordered construction of a new larger navy ordering 100 new cruisers for the german fleet alone
and an extra 20 ships are to be built in the far east
1890 has began and our new emperor has already shown himself to be arrogant and reckless in less than to years he has fallen out with bismarck numerous times and feels that the empire would do better without the old man. with this new emperor it is clear that germany's course has changed wilhelm whants germany to be agressive in aquireing new colonies. revolts have started in the balklands yet again just after our ally romania defeated the breakaway state of wallachia and reincorporated it into romania, and it looks like war could soon start in the north between sweden and russia. what will come next revolution, great war, civil war or a new emperor? we will soon find out.

there was uproar across all of germany at the resignation, with the entire population blameing the kaiser for bismarcks resignation
bismarck was succeded by Count Leo von Caprivi, who struggled whith the job. in 1891 after the egyptian goverment failed to defend them self against ottoman agression the kaiser ordered a military intervention to capture northern egypt to protect the egyptian goverment from the sick man.
and in 1892 the anglo-sikh war began with the british attempting to make panjab it's puppet
by october 1892 we have taken direct control over most egypt, leaving the egyption goverment to control the sudan and the italians to control asmara
december 1892 a large rebellion in luxembourg starts, and in 1893 the kaiser orders the expansion of the german far eastern fleet
social unrest after bismarcks resignation continues,
by late september the unrest continues and the nation decends into anarchy with the military suffering huge casulties
in 1894 we become part of the internatinal olypic community
and the kaiser orders another huge expansion of the caribbean fleet
with bismarck gone the country is struggleing but our might still continues to grow. 10 years ago our navy had 60 ships now it has over 200 ships, our might is starting to threaten our european neighbours. the italians are our faithful allies but are eyeing ottoman land in the balklands and north africa, and they whant control over ethiopia and austrian land. the french are hungary for revenge, bulgaria, greece and serbia are hopeing to weaken the ottomans and take the balklands for themselfs and the russians and austrians are continually fighting diplomatically with each other. it's becomeing clear that the ottoman position in the balklands is comeing under pressure both from within and from it's neighbours, but will the ottoman empire be able to survive?
