Used to craft Inspirational 'Davy Jones' Locker'. Requires skill 'Seamanship'.
It's a pretty common inspirational too, you get one about every 10 boards.
It can also be used as generic board in construction ( didn't test it with recipes ).

Going to have to agree with the higher number. I've done 100+ boards over the months, too, and I've not gotten one. I could believe 1 in 25, but 1 in 50 or 100 might be more like it. (If you've played Haven & Hearth at all, you know 1 in 100 is pretty common. Some of the "rare" randoms are 1 in 1000 or less!)

I thought they did not exist before last patch? Only tried to make about 10 boards since patch and I got a Coffin Plank.
I think they are new too, introduced with seamanship and the davey jone's locker inspirational.
