Major set back for the Empire​

In Russia President Kerensky was assassinated and the Radical Socialist SR-Mensheviks took over the Duma. Though they were Socialist they were not Totalist, not like Bukharin who wanted to create a Soviet state. Hopefully he is put down by his fellow socialists.


Then something that no one had expected happened. Stanley Bruce the Australian Governor died suddenly and the Syndicalist forces in Australasian Confederation quickly seized the power. This was a major set back for King Edward and he needed to reconsider his views for the future of Canada and the Empire.


Australasian Confederation wasn't the only one to suffer a coup. In Mittleafrika Governor Herman Göring was getting greedy and was removed by the Germans after he had tried requesting Portugal to seize Angola and Mozambique to him. But the Portuguese king had complained to the Kaiser who decided to fire Göring. This of course was a mistake as the Syndicalist in Africa used the opportunity to take over Mittleafrika while the Germans pondered who would be the next Governor.


Both Australasia and Centroafrika joined the Syndicalist bloc. Making it even stronger.

Arming the nation-Bill C-7​

King Edward went against Admiral Beatty's last request even though he greatly respected the man but the ideas of the man Beatty wanted to see in the head of naval department didn't meet the visions of Edward.


Edward issued reforms in the High Command putting many British Generals in charge. This of course didn't please some of the Canadians, especially the Quebecois.


Claude Auchinleck was chosen as the new Field Marshal of Canadian Army. He would certainly prove to be an worthy commander.


In May 2nd Edward presented Bill C-7 to the House of Lords. This bill when passed would harness the Canadian industry to the max and would ensure that Canada is able to defend itself.


C.D Howe was appointed as the Head of Canadian industrial development.


The old conscription bill was introduced as part of Bill C-7. This angered many.


Maurice Duplessis was the loudest one to oppose this new conscription act of Bill C-7 and after his protest the Progressive party decided to leave the parliament.


After what had happened in Australasian Confederation King Edward wanted to tighten the security in Canada and thus Robert Mannion was appointed as the Minister of Security.


Even though there was much protest against the Bill C-7 it was passed in May 27th by the House of Lords. The new future of Canada had begun.

Disturbance​

Caribbean Federation claimed that they had found huge deposit of mineral resources on Jamaica and they wanted money and supplies. Even though the Ministers were skeptical about this the King ordered the allowance to the Federation, hoping that it would eventually help Canada itself.


A great loss was suffered when Detroit Red Wings won the the Stanley Cup finals against Toronto Mapple Leafs. 4-2 was the score. Oh what a shame.


When the liberals proposed government funding for new industries there was no resistance. All knew that Canada needed to build up it's industry to match Europe.


We constantly heard disturbing news from the USA. The election was closing in and there were two candidates that worried us. Reed from the far left and Long from the far right. So King Edward decided to send a letter to Douglas MacArthur explaining his worries about the situation and asking that MacArthur would prevent Syndicalist from rising to power.


Old civilian ships were returned to the navy but they were all outdated and would have required a lot of maintenance work. So we decided to sell them to the Federation.


Federation was more than happy to buy these old ships as their possession consisted mostly of islands.


In Russia the Socialistic government was in disagreement. Bukharin wanted Totalism the rest wanted Socialistic democracy. So the Radical Mensheviks together with Bukharin decided to form their own Soviet Russia.


Russians who now claimed to be Social Democrats informed that there was a Dual Power in Russia.


Soviets on the other hand had something different in mind as they started organizing their own military force.

2nd Russian Civil War​

Terrible news came in from Russia in the early August morning. War had broken out between Social Democratic Russia and Soviet Russia.



It was clear that the powers of the world supported the more democratic Russia over the Soviet one. Even Union of Britain refused to send aid to Soviets.


In USA MacArthur was invited to step in as the safe guard of USA against the Radicals. So the letter that King Edward had send to him had done it's duty.


War Hero of the Empire Edmund Allenby died peacefully in his home in Canada. King Edward issued a state funeral to the hero to show is respect.


Admiral Kolchak decided that it was too risky to seize Siberia now that Russia was in civil war. In USA the military junta issued a new emergency security act that allowed them to start cracking down CSA and AUS rallies.

Night of the Monkey's Head​

The Aviation experts of the British Empire proposed that Royal Atlantic Aeronautics Corporation should be established to provide easy travelling between Canada and Caribbean. The King was delighted about this idea and gave a go ahead to this investment.


In the Legation Cities the Chinese criminal organizations took power and started to slaughter those who opposed them. The westerners fled in terror. This was known as the Night of the Monkey's head.


In United States MacArthur began to crackdown the parties and first one to go war CSA. Hopefully he will be successful.


Union of Britain started to meddle in Norway and managed to get the Norwegians to sign several agreements.


In Russian civil war yet another Russia rose up. This time it was Siberia. Siberia wanted to cede from Russia peacefully but the Democrats were too stubborn to let them go so they declared war.


The Soviets knew that their main concern was to get rid of their democratic friends in Russia and to establish Soviet rule over All the Russia later.


Japan wanted to create more tension in Russia fearing that the Soviets would take over and attack them. So they offered their aid to Siberia.


But then Kolchak decided to demand land all the way to lake Baikal. This of course angered Siberia and war broke between Transamur-Japan and Siberia.

2nd American Civil War​

Jack Reed, leader of the CSA responded to the governments attempts to crackdown CSA by declaring CSA an independent state and claimed all American land. The 2nd American Civil war had begun.


While Reed and his militias rose against the Military Junta in the north Canadians had to act fast or otherwise the Syndicalist could soon be knocking on their border. So the King ordered seizing of New England under Canadian control.



ISAC was set up to promote cooperation between the member states in scientific matters and all other areas of research. So the Umbrella Corporation was set up in Toronto.


King Edward now worried about the Civil Wars in both United States and Russia, and also the loss of Australasian Confederation to the Syndic Bloc decided that British Empire needed a strong ally in India. So a war was declared on Afghanistan to get back the Delhian lands.


To make things even worse Huye Long declared the southern states to American Union States. After that he declared war on both CSA and USA.


The New England governors asked King Edward to grant them Autonomy but King Edward, worried about possible Syndicalist coup in there announced that New England will now be considered Canadian district. Canadian Army was moved to secure major cities and airports along with the harbors.


In the West Pacific States of America left USA and became their own state controlling the whole Western Coast and Idaho. In the Pacific Hawaii seized much of the American Pacific islands.
