Iceland was wise enough to accept the deal.

Union of Britain also noticed our little deal with Iceland and they were not that happy about it.

Iceland wanted to modify the deal so they could get fishing rights back, in return we could station troops there. We agreed to send in the troops.

Short lived War for India and 2nd Vietnam War

Now that a war raged in India it was time to start reinforcing out position there. We declared war on the Syndicalist and Delhian armies together with Royal Marines worked their way to Bengal.

It was unfortunate that Billy Bishop, Hero of of the Empire died in a plane accident. He would be missed.
BishopDies.jpg

Neville Chamberlain, opponent of Syndicalism also passed away.

By November 1940 the Commune of India was all but destroyed. While their armies had engaged the Federation troops in the West our armies had marched in to the cities and forced the regime to surrender. Perhaps soon there would once again be a loyal subject known as British India.
DelhiWon.jpg

But the war wasn't over yet. Instead of trying to negotiate white peace with with PRV the High Command ordered an immediate preparation for the invasion of Vietnam. The Royal Marines and British troops stationed in India were loaded to the ships and in February 1941 they landed in Saigon.
Saigon.jpg

The VC armies were taken by surprise and they hadn't prepared good defenses. Ho Chi Minh himself led the armies defending Da Nang.

Opération Tempête du désert or how Africa was freed from Syndicalists

The first land battles of the War of Liberation happened in Africa between UoB forces and Kingdom of France. Our allies in Africa were not that incompetent, though their victories might have happened because Germans had forced UoB to withdraw forces to the mainland. By taking Casablanca we had secured the access to the Mediterranean Sea and made sure that Syndies had no place to retreat near them.
Casablanca.jpg

In the south Combined forces of Delhi. Canada, PSA and France fought massive battles against the Centroafrikan forces that had been allied to UoB.
Katsina.jpg

By the end of January UoB forces had been trapped to the deserts of north Africa. Our first victory was at hand.
UoBLoseAfrica.jpg

In the south our success also continued. The war for Africa was going well but we still had to deal with the rather massive fleet of UoB. Battles were loss and won on both sides but it was clear that the war had all ready taken it's toll on UoB supplies and every battle brought us closer to domination of the Atlantic.
