Many people dislike the "manpower fix" of one of the recent betapatches, which is why this version is still being used by some.

Yeah, the patch before the manpower change--the one with ZZFZ as the checksum--is pretty interesting and fixes lots of stuff, but the manpower changes in the following patch are just... ugh.

WAD. It's to prevent armies getting stuck after wars.

It does seem like a huge exploit though, if you can just walk across to fight my ally.

And letting players hide behind an invulnerable wall of MA refusal while the person refusing MA to one side is truced with that side isn't?

thats no exploit, moving trough france to attack spain without Ma does look like a exploit to me, if you want to invade spain without Ma from france it should be by sea simple as that

Why would we do it by sea when we can easily walk trough France

Not really. It should be my choice whom I let into my country and whom I don't. There are many instances in history where a country "hid" behind another one.

Yah but see paradox made the descion that u can walk trough Truced countries for a reason and there would be no way to fix it without making u unable to get ure armies back from a country u peaced with

Yes, I get the reasoning behind it, but using it for other purposes (like in this game) is not what was intended by Paradox and is an exploit.

Also, it doesn't seem to be true. Milan can walk over my territory, but I can't walk over Milan's.

You can't enter their territory from yours. Walk into a vassal or neutral country and then into Milan's territory.

I'd feel more sympathetic were it not for the -5 stab hit thanks to a truce.

I did not manage to come timely home on Sunday. Was here about 20:30 so too late for the game.

Seeing my performance on last Sunday probably not a mistake as it seems I am way beyond my prime or it may be I just play the game another way. I fear Eu3 MP and me are done seeing my performance against Brittany in my England game and now this game.

Apologies and sorry for the bother,
    Cheers,

It's still an exploit in my opinion. Imagine if I'd just made a small war with Milan, peaced out, then marched over his territory to annex Naples. I think it should be prohibited by the rules.

Then the rules need to be changed so that you need not accept a surrender of your opponent. In your case you would have probably stayed fully occupied until spain is dealt with since otherwise they cant reach iberia.

Uhm, are you even in this game? I wasn't occupied at all, and they'd have to fight their way through.
