I have been dealt a good hand in life, now I am just looking for a few more cards!
I know this is late, but I believe it's just that you need a clean install. First you'll need to back up your files (copy-and-paste directory), and then you'll need to pick one of the directories and copy the mod's files into the proper folders. If the question has been answered already or otherwise solved, that will stink... But it wouldn't be unexpected, given the amount of time.
