But it could just be the fact that I wrote two articles and the review was with a game I'm more familiar with.

Nice read! There was a nice mix of articles and I appreciate the effort that goes into creating, collecting and assembling all of that. I was especially interested in reading the comparison of VickyII vs PoN. I will say that I believe a better job can be done of promoting the AARLander...what this thing needs is MORE EYEBALLS...otherwise I'm afraid this renewed revival effort is doomed :\

Yes, this really needs more promoting but that is hard and i really feel that alone i can't really promote it to the extent that is needed. Though i will try a new idea for the next AARlander that might get more people's attention.

Hmm... the AARlander. I actually stumbled into it for the first time, just now.
If I understand it correctly, it is a monthly "magazine", written by the community?

Yes it is, well, monthly is such a vauge term. I do aim for it to be released within 2 months of eachother but this time it got up to 3 months since I (the publisher and tyrannical dictator Kim jong-il style) got alot work thrown at me from school druing two months.

Too bad that you are too ehm... drowned in games to publish regularly

I will say that I believe a better job can be done of promoting the AARLander...

This is most certainly true. The general AAR forum is not a place many members look regularly, and I just accidentally stumbled into this because I wanted to look at the ACAs. Maybe some of the involved writAARs can publish a banner in their AAR, or it can be put in the announcement bar (which is currently acting like a spambot).

Yes, a better work can absolutely be done to promote the AARlander, but for that I need the help of anyone that will at all promote it in any regard. Some moderators have already published it in the announcement bar a few times and i've posted posts about it but i believe the general problem is that people don't know what it is.

And as I don't have the biggest or best viewed AAR currently running I can't tell that many people to come read it, though any help is helpful and this edition I hope the promotion will be bigger (evil dicatorish plan!)

I liked reading it, lots of variety, liked the section going over HoI3 AARs by %, so many Germanys, so few Italys.

As for promotion, you could try and do something like the ACAs and ask the AAR writers to post a link or something similar in their AARs.

I won't usurp the ACAs (yet! *evil laughter*) but you put the finger on the diabolical plan, that's kinda what i was going to do.
