Can't register the game with amazon key

I bought Rome gold for mac from amazon but for some reason it will not register on the forums. I'm attempting to get a hold of the older version of Reign of the Ancients that has the fix for the cascading alliances, as I can't use the pc only betas. Unless someone knows of a mac compatible beta! Thanks!

The Mac version of all PI games except CK2 are written and supported by Virtual Programming www.vpltd.com , and it's their job to supply you with a forum key too. I've never bought a game from Amazon, but it may be the key you got from them is to allow you to install/play the game, rather than being a separate forum registration key.
Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death .... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man. Bertrand Russell
