Governor question

Hi

Just a quick question, when i read the manual it makes it sound like each province has its own governor which you need to keep and eye on for loyalty and tax etc., yet in game (i'm playing a Roman Military Republic if it makes a diff) i seem to just have a small number of governors that each controls a small region of provinces! Is this correct or is there a gameplay option or form of government that i need to research to allow me to have governors for individual provinces?

Are you reading the original Rome or the Vae Victis/Rome Gold manual? In the original game every province has a unique governor, but in VV/Rome Gold this is no longer the case.

Ahh that explains it then, i'm playing Rome Gold but downloaded the original game manual. :-)
