Invalid Product Code for Warlock: Master of the Arcane

Hello!
I recently bought the digital version of Warlock: Master of the Arcane from Amazon. Amazon provided me with a 15-figure Product Code (seperated by two dashes, as in the form of XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). But I can't register it in My Games at Paradox forum (the forum keeps telling me: Invalid Product Code). Since it's the first time I meet this kind of thing, I don't know how to handle it. Could anybody help me? What should I do next?

Register it on Steam with that product code then use the CD Key you get from Steam to register it on the Paradox forums.

I see.. Seems complicated. I'll give it a try a few days later since I can't get access to my gaming PC right now.

And yes, it is more complicated than any other game I have tried to register on the Paradox forums.

The difference is that the code you get from (retailer) activates the product (only).
The code you get once the product is activated is the forum/MP meta-server (for some titles) registration code.

Sometimes the registration codes are the same, other times they are not.
