    Rome to CK2 Converter

Apologies if there is a duplicate thread on this topic. I checked and I don't think there is specifically -- promise!

I noticed that there are a couple user mods for CK2 that attempt to set the start time back to either the time of Charlemagne or Attila the Hun. I also see there is a user mod that extends the end date of Rome.

Putting 2 and 2 together, does anyone know of a converter for Rome to CK2? Anyone working on one? If so, maybe the old Dark Ages gap in Paradox games can thus be bridged.

There aren't any existing right now, as far as I'm aware. It's a massive time gap though, so it probably wouldn't even work that well.

OK, I'll investigate on the forums whether there is a tentative date for Rome 2 ... and hope one of the many DLCs that are being worked on now for CK2 backdates the timeline somewhat. The CK2 mods I was thinking of seem to not work for anything post 1.04.

But are there any converters from one game to another?

I think there used to be an EU3 to Vicky and a Vicky to HOI2 converter floating around somewhere.

    EDIT:

Ok, so it appears I was wrong, there are some current ones I found after a bit of searching:

    Deus Vult to DW converter
    EU3 to Vic2 converter
    V2 to HOI3 converter

And there is a CK2 to EU3 onverter in the works
Now a word is twofold; internall, and uttered; An internall word is a conception of the mind, and motion of the soul, which is made without a voice. As in dreams we seem to speak, and dispute with our selves, and whilest we are awake we run over a whole speech silently. But an uttered word hath a certain act in the voice, and properties of locution, and is brought forth with the breath of a man, with opening of his mouth, and with the speech of his tongue, in which nature hath coupled the corporeall voice, and speech to the mind, and understanding, making that a declarer, and interpreter of the conception of our intellect to the hearers....

And you can convert your save from CK1 to EU2 and use converter to convert to Vic1 and from there to HoI2DD.
