I've been following the forum for a while and thought I'd report my problems.

I can reproduce the freezing behavior 100% of the time.

In order to give you a good idea of the problem, I have run tutorial 2 over several patch versions(1056 --> 1081) and also tutorial 3 on version 1081.

It appears the frontend looses contact with the back end, and this contact can be reestablished for an unknown reason later. However it only gives an image of the situation so I can issue new orders. There is no movement on the front end.

I might not be able to attach the logs in files, so I'll include some of them in this post.

I can do a lot of settings changes, but the freezing is still constant.

Luckily I have a win7 pre sp1 installation that is on a dying/tired hdd, so I can play the came with only stuttering problems which I think are not that uncommon. Anyway, to get a streamlined win7 were I can be sure it's the program and not my setup I would need to reinstall, and thats something I haven't gotten around to yet.

My win xp 64 bit is my preferred windows version, and that works well except for this game.

I think the game is fun, but since it doesn't appear to work on xp 64 you're audience might be a little limited until you can fix it.
