Well link is now closed consistent with the close date stated at the start of the thread.
Any idea when the Beta will actually start or at least when selections will be made?
I'm sure many of us like to know when to stop checking our e-mail compulsively.

I think the beta starts on the 13th but when do we receive notice that we're accepted or not?

I'm a huge fan of Dwarf Fortress and that's why this game sounds very interesting to me! =)
I know there will now be people that say, you shouldn't compare it with DF.
Perhaps I better put it this way: I like the direction, this game seems to be going.

I got an acceptance notification today! So, ETA is *soon*!
same as me - i got accepted letter so i hope its soon because two groups atm one is two weeks and other one is 6 weeks
