A List of Helpful Spells

Since most of you here already know all of the elements and the gist of casting by heart, I'll just list some here.

Steam Beam - F-Q-S-A: This is one of the highest damaging spells in Magicka by far. It wets the enemy and does electric and arcane damage all at once.

Super Steam Beam - F-Q-F-Q-S-S-A: An upgraded version of the Steam Beam. It does more damage and lasts longer.

Stun Lighting - A-A-A-R-R: A lightning bolt that does damage and chills the enemy. This is useful if there are large groups of enemies around.

Ice Boulder - Q-R-Q-R-Q-R-Q-R-D: This spell can do heaps of damage to almost any monster in the game, and it's also very effective in Versus. Fully charged, it does more damage in a single hit then the Steam Beam.

SAFE Shield - S-A-F-E: As the name suggests, this shield makes you immune to three of the most damaging elemets: lightning, fire, and arcane.

Water Quake - Q-Q-Q-D-D: An earth AoE that both knocks back and knocks down enemies. It also wets them; use a cold AoE immediately afterward for maximum effect.

Arcane Fireball - F-S-D: A fireball that does additional arcane damage. It can be spammed, and therefore done repeatedly in small amounts of time.

Vlad Impaler - Q-E-R-R-A-S: Also known as the Caress, this causes ice spikes to come out of the ground, do electric damage, slow you down, and then explode. This is another very effective spell, especially against groups.
