Do you need serial key too play same disc via lan game.

Just bought eu3 chronicles via amazon, serial key on disc but guessing just need it to play online etc. So just wondering if anyone know if it needs it during a lan game? Gonna copy the disc too play across lan just. So both computers will use the same disc. Thanks

You can copy the whole game directory over to your other computer once you have it installed on the first one and start a multiplayer lan game with them. Works perfectly fine if my memory serves me right.

It might've been a better idea to post in the EU3 sub-forum so people can find your questions easier since it's linked to a game in particular.

Yeah thanks, only new too this so assumed that i was talking about it in the eu3 site. Hopefully will work i'l install and see. Most games need two different serial keys too play. Know if any of the no-cd patches work for handyness too save me actual disc from damage? New and already a few due too the case itself.

No cd patches are considered piracy. I wouldn't use it or discuss it here if I were you.

K thanks, i'l just use the copy disc's instead, save the real disc or file down the case centre instead. Thanks anyhow, was just curious.

No problem. Actually I beleive EU3 doesn't require the CD at all, come to think of it.

Yeah thanks hi, only tried it there and works without the disc, so made back up copy for no reason at all. Talk about being stupid lol. Lan works fine also, no serial number needed at all. Just need the serial for online help. Thanks for all your help class game.
