bought gold edition on steam and im unable to launch the game steam error game is unavailable. . .. i read many references to a c++ install that is needed but cant find the damn thing anywhere
im also unable to use the steam cd key to add it to My Games section ( is it needed for in order to play multiplayer )
any help or advice much appreciated. . . .thanks in advance

Once you have that resolved you can post in Tech Support, where this thread belongs. But I have to say, it sounds more like an issue with Steam or their servers than anything we can help you with.
