Maya. My tip is to get a lot of practice, I know our 3D guy does a lot of sculpture IRL as well for example.
You would need to get a nice reel and then start sending it out to companies. Very basic advice, I know, but follow-up questions are welcome.
i did have a sort of a follow up question now that i think about it! i don't know if its on topic, but does your 3d guy have any recommendations for online 3d community's he recommends for beginners to get support when starting out?
